The general mission of the Office of the Registrar is to support the University as it provides access and opportunity to students and programs in instruction, research, and outreach. In particular, the Office of the Registrar’s mission is to facilitate the University’s instructional processes by assisting students, alumni, faculty, and staff.

The Office of the Registrar will accomplish its mission through an effort that cultivates an office culture characterized by excellence, efficiency, and effectiveness. The Office of the Registrar will strive to implement best practices of the profession. The Office of the Registrar will also promote communication of policies and practices within the Office and among the campus community.

Expectations of the Office of the Registrar

A welcoming and encouraging service oriented environment to all;

Accurate and timely processes related to course offerings, registration, academic records, certifications, transcript requests, athletic certification, class schedule development, and degree clearance;

Support for UCCC and the Early Start program; guidance and counsel to the University regarding academic policies and procedures;

Security and privacy for the University’s academic records, providing guidance for faculty and staff on the proper use and dissemination of academic records;

Leadership in technological development as related to student administrative systems and services.
